hello, I am new!.....how to decipher model numbers?

    Hi

    I like the 1100 the 1200 and the 1300

I also like the prg -80

I went to look at watches at macys and kohls, and sams club....( I am in NYC, USA)

but, they dont have the model numbers avail unless you ask the clerk to hand you every single watch and stuff like that, I dont want to bother, and also, the clerks are sometimes less than helpful

so, any way to match up features--(atomic, solar, ABC, Gshock) to pictures of the watches?

any "feature charts" that will help me decide?

    thanks

    allen

I want a large dail, solar , and maybe atomic updating under 120 USD

and, I guess I can post my "sightings" as I shop here in this thread..

    any thoughts?

    Hello and welcome here

If you want to compare the features of the Casio Pro-Treks/Pathfinders you can go to this site

    http://pathfinder.casio.com/watches/...iking_trekking

It has photos and features of most of these watches. Although, I think that the prizes are over your 120 usd limit.

Hope you' ll find what you want .....

    thanks g-tech!

    that table helps

I did go see the MI-III watch, the MTG-910 at Sams club, 109 USD

the face/dial was was too small for my liking.......very nice , but not for me.

I might just go and pick this "waveceptor" up to satisfy my need for a cool Casio til I decide on my favorite! Here it is, listed below.....

I say this today at Kohls .....and they are 25% off of list

    Casio® G-Shock® Waveceptor® Tough Solar® Gray Watch

this one is 120 dollars on sale or 84 dollars

    ___________

is there any comparison chart for the "waveceptor" or "gtech" line of watches?

    thanks!

    al

and, very cool watch forum, I have some others I have to take pics and show my collection!

It's 45mm left to right. Also, the MTG-910 you said you saw is the same size as it.

Not a chart, but this might help some: http://www.casio.com/products/Timepiece/G-Shock/

Welcome to the forum! The Protreks and Pathfinders are a great line, I'm a big fan. My best recommendation is that you do your homework here on the forum. Don't rush into any purchase, since the watches aren't going anywhere (not soon, anyway) and there will always be the next deal coming along.

There's a great wealth of knowledge on this forum and with its members. Check out the Casio websites, and feel free to come back with any questions you might have.

Good luck on the hunt! This is one of the funnest parts.
