    Hello there, help needed!

    Hello,
new member here okay, here's a bit about my watch collection, Iv'e never relly been a hardcore G-shock fan, only had them when I was younger. Right now I'm more into classic and designer watches, I own a D&G, DKNY, Swatch and a Guess collection and not forgetting 2 G-Shock's, (DW-004 and GT-001). Haven't worn the G-Shocks for many many years and only came across them a few days ago and I fell in love with them again. Both the G-Shocks are in pretty good conditions except the bands which I have ordered and will change.

Right now I'm looking to purchase a GLX-5600A-2 and there pretty hard to get hold off considering if you dont use ebay, I was wondering if anyone would know any site or any shops in the UK that sells it. I've found one website :http://www.urbanindustry.co.uk/produ...=show&id=10122 but again I want to see my options.

One last question :D this is the DW-004 I have :

I'm looking to have a slight modification on it, the G-Shock sign is in black, same colour as the bezel, I would like to colour the sign in a different colour so it can stand out more, I have absolutely no experience and If someone could provide me with info such as the paint to use and the method, i would be forever great full .
    :thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

You just want to paint the "G-SHOCK" text at the top of the bezel?

That should be no problem. It just takes a steady hand and the right paint and brush. The paint used for models usually works really well. Testors is a popular brand that's been used a lot. You can wipe up any mistakes while the paint is still wet.

I have read posts by other WUS members who have purchased from skywatches with good success. The only complaint has been slow shipping to the States (don't know about UK, but it should be faster since you're closer to them).
