If you go with that GA-100 you'll be fine.

If you go with an analague main thing for you would be to get one with the 'tough movement' feature. Watches with this module do an automatic check and adjustment if necesary of the hands every hour. GW-3000 has it and is good value but a) is outside your budget and b) has some other limitations (24 minute stopwatch). I think all of the G-Shocks with tough-movement are outside your budget though.

Welcome! These watches can take quite a bit of banging and vibration. That's kinda their marketed forte(and my experience)......I would argue that the watches can stand up to more vibration then you can (in terms of bodily trauma). They will keep going long after your wrists have failed from heavy vibration/repetetive motion.
The REAL question is whether you can stop at one or two G's once the "bug" has bitten!

@Roham: I've been TRYING to resist the Bumblebee(s).........Must stay strong.....They are MANY! I'll go BROKE......Must stay STRONG..........

I've seen them range from $175-$250, not sure what they go for on ebay.

    Totally worth it though.

3 Times Zones displayed at the same time.
    6 Multi Band
    Tough Solar
    5 Alarms inc SNZ/SIG
    24 Hour Stopwatch
    1 Hour Timer

    I love it

    Kind regards
