HELP! Is this G-Shock Solar or not Solar???

Bummer!!! I just received this G-Shock Model G-8000B-4VDR (it's the orange version) from Jomashop.com and their WS indicates that it is solar and so does my invoice. However, there is nothing on the watch or in the manual to indicate it is solar.

I've sent Jomashop an email asking them to clarify if the watch is solar as they indicate or perhaps they just goofed-up.

My other solar G-Shocks have the battery icon and solar is written on the various watches.

    Am I missing something??

Any help provided will be greatly appriciated.

    AZ Kid

    Hi

Looks like your observations are correct. I am familiar with this model and it is not Solar. I also checked Jomashop's website (http://www.jomashop.com/casio-g8000-4vdr.html) and I don't find "Solar" anywhere.

If it is on your invoice, you should ask for your money back. They might have amended their website info when they discovered the error.

Did some more poking around. This Jomashop page clearly says it is Solar: http://jomashop.stores.yahoo.net/casio-g8000b-4vdr.html

Looks like they have two pages for the same model but only the first one is correct.
