    help GW-1501 problems.

gday, ive had my gw1501 for a couple of years now without any dramas. over the last month the digital display has been getting weaker and weaker, i thought no probs its will charg itself up soon and be fine again.
however last night i went to use the light and it wouldnt function, and now this morning even the beep when changing functions wont work.
so i put it out in the sun for a good 6 hours but still no luck. its like its reluctant to charge.
i dont have my manual with me as im away from home atm and have no idea how to fix it.
i assume that the solar panel charges the battery and maybe that battery needs replacing?

any help would be much appriciated.

maybe just the battery cause i'm going thru same as my gw-610 and mtg-960 cause gw-610 is working but no light so after i left it by the window so it will get all day light then the light works again but on mtg-960 same problem as every thing else work but press light and then recover flashes and maybe an battery problem.

Maybe your watch isn't receiving the amount of light required to charge the battery.

Check your manual here, specifically the part about Power Supply:

    http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_man.../en/qw3366.pdf

    Hope this helps.

thanks guys, after reading the manual i think there may be a problem with the watch. the battery reading is saying hi however the display is still really dim. might put it in the sun for another 6 hours or so tomorrow and see how it goes.
