Help! I chipped the glass on my Black Dawn Frogman and I don't know what to do!

    Hello All,

I found a chip in the glass face of the watch. Is it still ok to dive with the watch? Does anyone know how to repair or who would have the parts for a black dawn frogman?

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in adavnce!

I've honestly never heard of anyone repairing a chipped watch crystal without replacing it entirely, if others have they can chime in.
Experience is what you end up with when you didn't get what you wanted.

I tend to agree, and Casio being Casio, you might be looking at a new case, as they don't tend to market all the individual parts of their watches, even to service centres. It would prove valuable if the crystal can be replaced as I am sure you are not alone in this predicament.

Best thing to do is to contact a Casio specialist or service centre. Try tiktox.com (UK based) they should be able to advise the status of the parts/case, or more to the point availability as the "Dawn Black" Frogman is out of production.

Top Job I am sure that is going to make a few people happy. I know with some of the Protrek`s a case is the only solution.

Maybe the Ti case makes the difference ? compared to the Protrek`s re-enforced Resin cases.
