Help improving the accuracy of a vintage DW5400

Some time ago I bought a vintage gold 5400 to complete my collection of steel G shocks of the 80s, it looked in good condition but it was very dead.

Finally last week I was able to procure the correct battery and I fired it, everything works great, the display is crispy as any module 240 I have, much better than any modern G shocks I have seen GW5000 notwithstanding.

However, the watch gains almost one second per day, 0.9 to be precise, of course I am aware of this thread regarding the regulation of G shocks, but the pics are down:

And I cannot really find the trimmer on the 240. Anybody can tell me where is it?

This is a pic of the watch, as you can see it's in very good condition for a 1985 G shock:

I am still waiting for the Brazilian rubber but as I want to use it on daily basis I would be needing to have a decent accuracy.
    Prdrers and MainePorsche like this.

Look for a slotted screw usually painted white. A straight bladed screw driver should be used & always in very small increments. For 1 sec/day, it won't take much to adjust.
