help me to choose a G shock to wear with a suit and shirt. Budget max 1000 dollars

    Hello,
i would like to buy my first G Shock, but i need your help to find one wearable with suit and shirt.

My budget is 1000 dollars max.

Today i have in mine the GPW 1000 gravity master, is it a good choice? other propositions?

    Many thanks for your help.

    GW-5000

I've worn it with a dress shirt and slacks. It's discreet and conservative in size, a small G-Shock by today's standards. I think it'll work well in a more formal environment.

The gpw-1000 probably won't fit under your shirt cuffs unless they are quite large. It is a pretty large and tall watch. Do you definitely want analog?

The obvious choice to me is the MTG-S1000D, metal bracelet analogue watch fits suit and shirt perfectly. Only issue I had with it is the size, as it is a very big watch. Go try it out, if the size fits you then I think this is a very suitable choice

If you don't mind the look, there's the Steel Series: https://forums.watchuseek.com/f17/g-s...s-2027801.html

+1! The MTG would look great with a suit. Esp. the all-black model, IMO. (cause that's the one I have and it looks sharp!)

The GW-5000 would also work, if you want to go digital. Very clean and nice look to this model.

The GPW-1000 could work, but IMO is not as suitable a choice as either of the previous two just because of its size. The GPW is a great looking watch, but IMO it's more of a sporty/casual watch than a dress watch.

Buy cheaper suits and spend more on buying an MRG watch.

I think you should consider something from the Edifice or Lineage series.

Or maybe something in Oceanus line:

True G-shock is quite large and tall, so might have trouble fitting underneath dress shirt cuff, but I like this Aviator since it is deadly discreet ninja black:

Many thanks for your answer. Based on your comments i hesitate between :
    - G shock MTG S1000
    - Edifice EQW A1200 serie

    What s your opinion ?
