My last cheap digital 'tough' watch has just died so I'm considering a cheap(ish) G-Shock to replace it.
I've gone round and round looking at different models but *think* I want a model with both Solar and Atomic features but am open to reconsideration of that.
The entry-level square DW-5600 has neither of those features but the price is certainly good at $46. I would be prepared to pay the extra $45 to get a GWM-5610 which has the same 'vintage' look but with the added solar/atomic features. Is it worth the extra for those features? I do like the under-the-radar look of these models but the lack of a reverse button is what gives me some pause for thought although, not having owned one, I don't know how important that is or isn't and would appreciate your thoughts on that.
An alternative is the round-faced GWM-500A which has the three subdials above the main display. They look a little bit small to be clearly legible but they do seem to add more information to the main display than the classic models above. At $66 on Amazon it is certainly good value.
Any other models I should consider as a one and only G-Shock?
Thanks for your help.
