Help me find my perfect G-Shock... does it exist?

Okay so a lot of you know I have quite a large collection of G's and I tend to try and wear all of them as often as I can.

This was fine until recently when to replace my scammed TAG heuer watch, I bought one of these:

It's a TAG Heuer CAF1010 and in all honesty, if I had to sell every watch I own to keep this, I wouldn't mind. It's such a fantastic watch for my weekend use.

It would also be perfect for my weekday\work usage but there's the problem, I don't want to damage it.

I know the movement of the watch is used in a Raymond Weil model, Invicta and possibly others but they're nowhere near as nice to look at and still not a G-Shock.

So I'd like your help to try and find me the perfect G. It needs these key features displayed at one time...
    • Day of the month
    • Chronograph
    • Current time
All these need to be there when I look at the watch in one display. With this I can write an invoice knowing the day of the week and how long I've been at my customer. Obviously the time is kind of handy as well

The other thing is, I like the digital stopwatch section so although I know any analogue G-Shock would be fine, I'd prefer one that has the mixed digital + analogue system.

The TAG has 2x digital displays for the chrone, a seperate digital display for the date and then of course the analogue hands for the time.

Are there any G's with this set-up that you can think of? Failing that, are there any non-G Casios?

    Thanks guys

    What about the GW-2500?

Its not showing the date while in STW mode....

But it shows UTC in all modes....

Its comparable in display layout with the Tag.

Thanks Doug but I'd really like to keep an ana\digi setup if possible.

I've had one of these before and liked it but really want the date as well

Great watch... does it display the date, time and stopwatch all at the same time?

No G comes up in my mind that does that but there are better experts on here. However, I'd have to say that this is the classic feature of most mechanical chronos and even their quartz counterparts. There are even those with day/date, chrono and time. Another thing I wonder is how much you'd really need the chrono. I mean do you need to measure your client meetings to the second? It's probably because it's easier to read the digital chrono than to calculate 3:32 till 5:56 for a client meeting, right?

The Citizen Promaster SST might be a possibility but I think you'd only get analog chrono plus date and time. Digital chrono plus date will be the difficult thing to find.

It seems there isn't a G-Shock that displays time, chrono and date functions all at the same time then!

    Not in ana-digi.

    But as full chrono, yes.
