    Help me ID a mid-late 90s G?

Many years ago circa 1997-8, a friend of mine had a G-Shock. I loved it. Yellow, digital and a nylon strap (can't be positive about nylon, but it wasn't resin ... no idea if it was the original strap either)

So I've looked this up for myself a bit, and came up with this baby, DW003.

I'm positive the shape is correct, strap seems ok as well, but the face ... not so sure. Have there been different faces offered? This is not easy to research for a noob ...

And the following is obvious ... is there a current equivalent or do these come up for sale regularly and at what prices?

    Thanks!

Yep. 003. They come up often on flee bay. New old stock may run in the 65-80 range. Used would be 25-50. Yellow is nice.

Lots of variety in the 002's and 003's. Here's a few of mine:

Great watch, go for it! There's another version with this module, often found also in other 90's models.

Oh! I think we have a winner! Minus the metal bits. Do you know the exact model number?

Not exactly the same, 'cause mine doesn't include the "Extreme" word, but I guess that is the only difference.

The metal bits, by the way, can be removed in 3 seconds if you don't like 'em. I do. :)

    Glad you like it. :)
