    Help Me Pick a GShock

Trying to decide between two GShocks. Looking at the GW-3000BB-1A and the Riseman. I am not a big fan of digitals, so I am leaning to the 3000, but I do like the feature set of the Riseman. Anyone have experience with these two? Opinions?

I have both a GW3000B-1A and a G9200GY-1 and to be honest they are two completely different beasts. With the 3000 being a little lackluster in the features department and the infamous 24min stop watch (yes minutes, not hours). And Riseman having an abundance of features with the altimeter, barometer, thermometer, and the various timers and alarms. I think you just have to decide if the features on the Riseman are something that will useful to you and if so, can you live with having a digi. Other wise the 3000 is just a fantastic analog timepiece if nothing else that will handle any abuse you can throw at it. I honestly wouldn't part with either one, so I guess my suggestion is...get both! BTW, I wont be the only one telling you to do that.

    I don't own a GW-3000 (yet).
Not sure if I'll ever buy one, 'cause I already own a ton of analogs.

If you prefer analogs, then get the GW-3000. It's really a looker.
But if you want a G with one of the best modules, get the Riseman.

    Real men don't need instructions.
