Help me pick a solar + atomic G-Shock

I've been wanting to get hold of a Tough Solar + Atomic G-Shock for a while, and recent attempts have been scuppered; I've had to send back two second hand MTG-900DU's, the first because it was in much worse condition than the seller described, the second because it was sold as in working order and it turned out the battery was dead.

So, I'm feeling a bit jaded about MTG-900DU's at the moment, but like I said, I want a tough-solar atomic. It has to work with the UK transmitter, and I would prefer a metal strap, and probably not too expensive.

    Suggestions please!

    MTG-930DU

You're limited in options being from UK, wanting metal strap and much cheapness i'd say maybe a GW-800 or 810 perhaps?? There's always GW-1400 and similar, but the price goes up and i'm not sure what you're willing to pay.

No metal strap unfortunately, but, It's 5 Band atomic and solar and has almost all functions you would come to expect from G-shocks.

£85 quid ish from seiya San

Any questions on this module, ask away

    Hope this helps.

The signal actually comes from Anthorn in Cumbria as of 1 April this year. That is probably the least useful fact I have ever put in writing.

I'd second that. I have the 900, and it is nice. The black one would be suh-weet!

Re: Help me pick a solar + atomic G-Shock

Thanks for the input guys. The MTG-900 is certainly a nice watch, I just feeling at the moment like I have had one and got really frustrated with it, (I had to argue with both sellers to get refunds).

I guess there isn't actually that much choice when it comes to TS-WC's with metal straps, I'm certainly considering resin ones now. Asfalloth, I like that watch, nice simple design, but perhaps a bit close to the (non-TS-WC) polygon I bought recently.

I'll tell you what, if anyone was selling that atomic mudman for the equivelant of $80 here I'd buy it in an instant. I really envy the big retail sales you guys get in the states, it is quite rare to get large discounts on the high-street in the UK.

    Back to dithering...
