Help with picking an Ani Digital

I have finally decided to get a Ani-Digital G-Shock. Have not purchased and kept any G-shock since the GW-9200 that I picked up back in 2008. In fact, I only have a G-2300, DW-5200 and GW-9200 and a PAW-1300.

I have narrowed down my choices to:

GA-100 (All Black) or the GW-2500.

I have a 7.75 inch wrist so I could pull off the GA-100.

Both can take strap adapters so I would be wearing either with a black maratac zulu.

I would like to get some opinions on the each watch and pictures would be great.

    Thanks.

It all boils down to personal taste, but I love the GW-2500 (2500b in my case).

Super readability, great set of features (including the ability to track three timezones at once) and a very comfortable size and strap. For me, this is the best all around G since the 5600.

Their sizes are totally different. The 2500 is too small for me, definitely, and I'm a 7" wrist.

There are loads of pics in the forum of both - have you found them all yet?

I would have to agree with Maine regarding the size. The 2500 is a much better watch from a feature stand point. It is also a more everyday work watch. The GA 100 is more of a casual fun watch. I have a 7.375" wrist and found the 2500 a little to small for my liking. It all depends on why you are getting the watch (ie- work or nights/weekends). There is also a pretty big price difference for these 2 watches.

From further down this page -

    GW-2500 Aviator

My wrist is 7.25" and I find the size just right.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    Thanks for all your opinions.

Based on the measurements, the GW-2500 does not seem small, but does it wear small. I like the size of my Seamaster, but the crystal takes up most size of the watch. How large is the face of the GW-2500?

The 2500 is the same size as the 1000 that I'm showing below. Visible dial diameter is 28mm, and the Seamaster is 31mm. I know that because this pic was taken at quite close range, the significantly extra height of the 1000 brings it closer to the camera.

But if you look at the length of the hands, the Omega clearly has the more dial space available. And it's a few mm thinner, so it doesn't stick up like the 1000 does.

    Hi,
I got a pic of both next to each other:

I had both and sold the GA-100 - didn't really like the buttons - the GW-2500 is easier to operate.

Wow GA-100 looks like a monster next to the 2500. Another questions how does the GW-2500 compare as far as size to the AWG-100.
