    Help Picking a White G -- GA-100A-7ADR vs. GA110C-7ACR

    Hey fellas,

So I'm a little torn between these two models, and was hoping that some of you could help to point out the noteworthy differences between thm.

The first model I'm looking at is the GA-100A-7ADR, as seen here:

The second model I'm looking at is the GA110C-7ACR, as seen here:

    Ok, so my main questions:

-Are the accent colors on the GA100 a really dark blue, or are they a little purple-ish? (I poked around a bit today and couldn't find any in person)

-Am I correct in that the GA100 has a glossy finish, whereas the GA110 has a matte finish? If so, is either of these finishes easier to clean or keep clean?

-Do they both use the same LED backlight?

-It would seem obvious that the GA100 would be the more readable of the two due to the hands both being dark blue. Do you guys find that to be the case?

-Is the LCD on the GA110 one of the mirror-types?

Thanks in advance for any light you guys can shed on this.

I like the GA110 more in white. The GA100 has blue ish purple markers from what I remember and I did not like it that much in person at Macys last year, could have got one for $75. The GA100 has a mirror display and I think the GA110 should also.

Also if you get a black bezel and strap for the GA110 that would really change it up and make a great mod.

looking at them right there in basically the same stock pose, i would def go with the 110; it seems more unique and interesting. i waffled back and forth on which one of these i was going to grab also, i think the 110 just looks cooler all around.

either way, i think you'll be pleased.

I have the GA110C-7ACR & can confirm that the case & strap are of a gloss finish , also the LCD does have a very slight mirror finish to it but perfectly readable in most conditions.

Personally I would say that the GA110C-7ACR is the better of the 2.

but then I would say that as I own about 5 different variants of the GA-110's he he he

I would say GA-100 all the way. Personally I think it is the best looking white G-Shock. I admit though I really don't like the way the GA-110 looks. The layout just seems a bit off to me.

As other have said on the 100 the digital display is def a bit mirrored but still very easy to read. I suspect it's the same for the 110.

Thanks for all of your guys' input. It's been a big help.

I'm gonna go with the GA100, mainly because I think I'd have an easier time reading the hands, and I like the idea of the purple-ish blue accents.

P.S. Anyone got pics of the GA100? I'll do some digging around too, of course.
