    Help setting my G9100 please?

I received my G9100 Gulfman today but I'm a little confused with the set up.
This is my location - Jersey, Channel Islands:
    http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=712

On the setting screen I put in:
UTC zero, DST on, and set the correct time.

However, afterwards when I went in to World Time the times were out by an hour.
I have gone back in to the setting screen and changed the UTC to +1 and now the WT time are correct - but will my tide times be accurate?

    Thanks in advance..

It seems to me your home time was ok the first time. Did you check if your world time zones (those that needed it) have DST on the first time? Maybe that was the difference you noticed. You have to input DST manually for your world time zones by pressing the adjust (upper left) button in each one of them.

Thanks Vintage, but I had thought of that. I was looking at Beijing (no DST) and that was an hour out.

There should be no ofset for UTC for Jersey, but it seems that I need to input +1 to include the added DST hour.

A-ha, I see. So actually you can't add DST when you set UTC 0 as your home time. I didn't know that.

I think I have it sorted. I input the UTC difference as Zero and DST as Off.
I set the time to GMT. When this is done all the World Times are correct.

I then set the DST to On to account for British Summer Time. Doing this automatically changes the UTC setting of the watch to +1.

Everything now seems to be hunky dory. Thanks for your help Vintage.
