Lightbulb Hi, I'm a new member

Hi pals, I'm from Venezuela and I'm a young fan of Casio's watches. Right now I own a G-shock 1501 (Nissan) but I'll get a Protrek soon, I like Prg-70 and Prg-90 which one do you recommend?
thanks a lot for this forum! Casio's watches rule

In my opinion, the better watch would be the PRG90. The PRG70 is also rated at 50m water resistance, while the PRG90 is 100m.

I have a PRG80 which I actually like better than the other ones.

yes, I noticed that but well,I think I'll never be below 50 meters of water lol but who knows?:-S I like both watches they're cool... I just wonder...why Protrek watches don't resist 200 meters?

Unfortunately, 50m WR doesn't mean you can go down to 50 meters...it means that if you place the watch at the bottom of a static column of water 50m high, it will not leak. In real life, you subject a watch to much higher pressures (briefly) than the static pressure of the water it's in. Put shortly, 50m is considered to be insufficient for swimming and snorkeling, much less diving to 50m.

So I'd say get the 100m watch. :)

Personally, I won't buy anything less than 100m (I have a couple dressy watches with less that I got as gifts, but the one dressy one I have that I paid for is 200m).
