Home time issue with GWB 5600 and Connected App

So I recently bought a GWB 5600BC 1B, so far I really like it. Altough, as the title says, I'm having an issue with the G-Shock connected app and the home time. So I set my home time to Montreal, but everytime I connect the watch to the app, or when it automaticly recieves the time or even when I manually recieve the time from my phone, my home city resets back to Toronto.

Has anyone had a same issue and could help me?

    Thank you!

I had this recently on a holiday to China. It knew that I was in Guangzhou but it kept defaulting to Shanghai as my home city. Funny thing is that back here in Australia, it does recognise my home city as Brisbane rather than Sydney.

I presume it has to do with things like DST as China as a whole doesn’t follow DST but here in Australia, my home city doesn’t follow DST but Sydney does.

Frankly I don't think the Bluetooth functionality was ready for prime time when Casio rolled it out. Entirely on the app dev side esp Android.

Alright, so I made some research and I found that my phone (S8+) is setting time automaticly. I tried to change it manually and noticed that it's syncing to the Toronto time. Unfortunatly, Montreal is not in the list of selectable cities.

So what I think is the app automaticly picks the city that my phone is syncing to.

Sorry for doublez but I was right. So I test it and I changed the city from my phone to another one and immediatly the app updated it. So I'll try to figure out if I can stop the app from taking the city from my phone or if I can add cities to the phone.
