Question Hong Kong: where to buy G Shock?

I'll be travelling to Hong Kong shortly. Any suggestions on where I might get G Shocks that are not available (or cheaper than) in the UK?

    Thanks.

Take the MTR to Mong Kok, that is the place to go. When you get there look for SINO CENTRE(信和中心), that's is the main one. There are couple places in Mong Kok that sell Gshock, but it is very hard for me to give you direction here.

There are SOOOO many places in Mong Kok, but in Hong Kong you really shouldn't have trouble finding any watch stores in one of the MANY malls all over Hong Kong. The MTR stations usually let off inside or under a mall most of the time.

Javys.com :) just look in their site for the exact location...
You will surely drool over their stocks.. Bit pricey though..

what ever you do though try to avoid buying from city chain. very very pricey cause they follow the catalog prices in japan. safe trip and happy hunting!

Another option is Trendy Zone which is just 2 buildings away from Sino center, at the corner of dundas street and nathan road. I personally think the watches sold there are more competitive priced but still depends on which models you are looking for. There is 1 store in basement of trendy zone which should be amongst the cheapest in Mong Kong especially those limited editions.

If you look for the very rare models, such as Bapes, MIB frogman, Jelly red frogman, love the seas and the earth series and others, you definitely should check out the ground floor of sino center (in fact, only that floor has watch stores) but be prepared for the jaw dropping prices also.

There are a couple of them in "causeway place" (name of a mall) in causeway bay but they are not as cheap as those in MK, but no harm to check out if you can't find anything you want in Mong Kok.

Have a nice trip and good luck in watch hunting

Many thanks for all the helpful suggestions.

I guess I could find Oceanus models in the same places?

You definitely should, mate. Make sure that when you do, though, you book your hotels early or stay with a friend. It can get real expensive real fast out here.
