Gift The Hooch 2000! Warning - Picture intensive.

    Hi all,

Well it's the 2000 marker, dunno what rubbish I have been spouting for that amount of posts but I'm just glad to still be here over a year and a bit later!

I don't have anything special to mark the 'occasion' so I thought I'd share a few pics of how the collection currently stands. Although I have gained some knowledge since I've been here I haven't improved my photos so I apolgise for the poor quality and awful lighting!

Hard to believe that 2 years ago I didn't even wear a watch and then after buying a simple DW-9052 for work and finding this forum, here I am, a self confessed watch nerd and compulsive collector.

A big thank you to all the WUS members who have fed my addiction and shared their vast knowledge and acted kindly towards me. :thanks

Feel free to ask any questions about any of the models or for comparison shots etc, it would be my pleasure.

Some awesome looking watches there. I can relate to what you are saying, until the middle of last year I had one watch for work, I'm now in the mid 20's and still going.

Congratulations Hoochy on the 2002 and on a great collection of watches, that's a lot to accumulate in 2 yrs, can't wait till you've been at it ten years or so.

    Cheers mate,

Both of those are presents from my lady.

    The Animal one ( yes it's upside down - doh! ) was a 21st birthday present, I'm now 30!

The Police 'Matrix' one was a present for joining a certain specialised department where I work. Neither really get worn and aren't to my taste but are kept for seintimental reasons! I have no idea how effective 5atm is

Smart arse! Yes I realise but can't bothered although I may have to now you pointed it out!

I also realise that most of them are well out of sync and covered in fingerprints.

As much of a watch geek as I am I don't have the time to devote to the regular servicing requirements, I have no idea how Sjors copes with DST!

The worrying thing is that they seem to be getting more expensive, however I rarely go over the £100 barrier!

The big draw for me is how many great bargains you can find on ebay, forums etc! I have never bought a watch in my home country!
