    Does anyone use/like the hourly chime?

    I've never used the hourly chime feature, and don't imagine ever doing so.

    i do all the time when i get up turn on and turn off evening with hour and half hour beep with casio g-shock dw-5200.

    If it's available I'll turn it on. Though I stop hearing it about 2 hrs in. Maybe just turnign it off would be best. I can't imagine it to be a pleasant noise to those around me.

    Use it all the time as well. Most of the time I shut it off at bedtime, but when I forget I usually get a good whack in the back.

    I use it most of the time but does seem a dying thing. When I was a kid it was the thing to do at school to be rebellious (its having a knife now adays!).
    When I work in a college I'm the only one in the lecture theatre to be beeping.

    Me too, but it's more of a loud sigh - the shot in the back only happens when several go off in unison.

    This is where it would be nice to have the ability to set the hourly chime to turn off at night.
