    How to clean the G?

My g-9200 has some sort of transparent/grayish layer on the bezel and strap that won't go away. I tried washing it with soap but it seems the layer just moves around and the pattern changes but it doesn't go away. It's very subtle but still annoying. Any ideas as to how to get rid of it?

liquid hand soap and a soft brush, then dry it off, then Aerospace 303 protectant. Might work.

It's the soap that leaves the residue in the first place. Use just water and a brush. That should do it. If not, step up to vinegar. If that doesn't cut it use alcohol (vodka, rubbing alcohol, whatever you have in the house). Magic Eraser pads usually work well, too. Aerospace 303 itself should get the job done, too. But the film is most likely soap build up.
