How to clean the resin bands

So...what's the best soap/method to clean the resin bands? One of my bands has a slight flatter surface finish than the others, and I wonder if it just needs to be cleaned. I can also see some gunk in the adjustment holes in the band.

Will anything dry out resin bands more than another product? Is there a conditioning agent for the resin bands?

    Thanks!!

Water and an old toothbrush is all you need.

That's all I've been using and they come up like new.
