How do I know if my G synced?

Picked up a GW1500 today for $105. Really impressive watch, only I haven't figured out how to tell if the watch got a signal. The manual makes no mentioned of it. It only says after a manual sync the screen will display ERR if it was unsuccessful. So anyone know how to tell if the watch successfully synced automatically? Thanks!

As far as I can recall, the only way to tell is to press the "D" button to display the last time the watch did a successful sync. I don't think there's an onscreen icon to indicate this.

Some of the atomic G-Shocks say RCVD in small letters on the home screen. Both of mine do when successfully synced. But they are both 5600's. Not sure about that specific model.

Rockwilder is correct. Most models have an icon or a word (RCVD) on the screen to indicate successful sync.

On the 1500, however, I don't think there is such an icon.

What happens when you hit the "D" button once?

It will display the most recent successful sync.

I suppose you could always pull up the national time clock in a browser and if your watch is in step with it right to the exact second, more than likely it is synced.

The "D" toggle button puts you in the atomic display mode (pressing it again returns you to main time display). You'll see the last time synchronization was made. From here you can control two things: 1) turn auto sync on or off, and 2) initiate manual sync.

Some other models will show a synchronization success visual cue on the display screen in main time mode. Some spell "RCVD", while others have a dot or a dash near a label regarding sync.
