How G-Shocks are produced in the factory

    Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I found it very interesting. This video shows how G-Shocks are produced in the factory.

    Cheers,

I imagined the letters of the bezel were painted by a robot or something like that, but check minute 5:49.

    They are painted manually (!)

So stealthed models should be sold on discount, right? : P

Don't forget many stealthed models have black painted bezel lettering. It's still a paint, just not so noticeable.

I thought exactly the same thing, i cant believe they do it by hand the same way we would do it to do a mod.

The videos a really good example of how quartz watches are made, the guts/module of a 3k casio would be made in the same way, its then dropped into a case thats been made in a machine, there is very little human love that goes into these watches, and what ever assembly thats done by hand is done at 100 miles an hour by robot like humans despite what ever promo videos casio put out to try and prove otherwise.
But for your standard G all of this is fine by me, i know exactly what im buying when i buy quartz watches, i love em but wouldnt buy one for over $400.
