    Welcome to the forum.

Thread moved to the main forum for better coverage.

So you're saying that you had the watch displaying PM in the afternoon on one day, but the next day (24 hours later) it wasn't displaying and you didn't set it to 24h mode?

are you on 'military time', or 24 hr time which wouldn't normaly need to indicate wether it's am or pm.?

Maybe it was a pacific time zone indicator, and you switched home cities?

Why using PM when time is measured in 24 hours?
For example. The clock is 16:11.48 here right now.

Many prefer 12hr time. 24hr time can feel unnatural if you haven't been brought up with it. If I see 16:11.48, I have to take a second or two before thinking, 'Oh right - 11 minutes past 4'.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
