How high up the wrist should a person wear a watch?

I know this is a popular and repetitive question, but I'm asking because I have always wondered what the ideal height up your wrist you should wear it is. I am so used to metal watches, which I would just let slide around my arm, but now that I have the resin band of G-Shock that I wear all the time, it's become something of an obsession for me. So what do you think is too high or too low?

I wear mine as high up as possible and I like to wear it loose. Basically I like to wear it at the most bony place. If I wear it on the soft parts then I always feel a little strangled. I also do not like that the watch wears smaller if I wear it higher up. So near the hand is ideal for me...

Near the hand and loose enough to slide around.

I think it's a personal thing - wherever it's comfortable. I like having a bit of slide-around when I wear a watch with a metal bracelet, but for my G-Shocks I like them to stay put.

there are no rules. just wear it wherever it's comfortable for you. I wear mine a little snug and just behind the boney part

I like my watches to stay put or snug. However so long as it doesn't go up my nose when I scratch it...it's ok with me...

Apparently the height that is most comfortable for the individual - no general rules.

Without question just below the elbow.

Only because you don't want the watch to inhibit the ability of the joint moving.

If you are really bold, wear it on the underside of your elbow.......oh the looks I got that day!

I hope you realize this is all sarcasm.

I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
