    How High are you? Pic Thread : Altimeter Mode Shots

    Thought this might be an interesting thread....post a shot of your G in Altimeter mode

    Just how high are you? Post shot and location.

    This is the highest my Rangeman was for now, the max altitude recorded in the watch. It should be 930m as showing on the board, but very close, I was impressed with the precision:

    How do you guys adjust the altimeter? When I adjust him on the right altitude, half hour later the measurement is inaccurate again? Pressure chance maybe?

    Yeah they drift with pressure for sure. There is no altitude lock like with some other watches.

    I'm on the plains of northern BC so no special altitude here (2500ft or so)

    Not quite as high as a mountain, and my G's certainly have been to high places, but I still like this pic atop the Empire State Building...

    Only have Alti on my Protreks, not my G-shocks - can I still play?

    On the way to Mt Ngauruhoe summit New Zealand last week. 2138m (7014ft), with about 150m (500ft) to go.
