How Limited is the Burning Red 7900?

I have finally seen the burning red 7900 in my area (new york city), but have been reluctant to pay the $150+tax, especially because they have been at major department stores that occasionally offer coupons. Should I bite the bullet and just pay the premium or will this watch be readily available in the forseeable future? How limited is it anyway?

I don't think it's limited at all as I see it all the time being sold here ... $150 is a premium to pay anyway

Just make sure those coupons are actually good for the g-shocks. I know that Macy's coupons have heavy restrictions.

From what I understand, unless they specify a certain number will be made (usually this is only done with certain collaborations), then "limited" simply means that the production run is limited to a shorter than usual time period. Basically, to paraphrase Seinfeld, it is limited to how many they think they can sell. Value usually only goes up once the production has ceased and people start to realize the watch is less available than it was before (retailers start selling out).

I love mine but I will say they seem to be getting very hard to find. There were two @ my local Macy's a few weeks ago. They are long gone and the only ones I have seen online seem to be around 225.................I got mine online around Christmas.....If you can find them retail I would not wait...JMHO!
