That's exactly what I've been doing on my days off!

You want to get it to the maximum within the ‘H’ range, not just to the lower part of the ‘H’ range. Once you have done this , you will likely be pretty well set just wearing it and letting it charge naturally. Enjoy your new watch, it’s a beauty!!, judg69
10 days are you crazy? Lol thanks mate..

My GWB-5600 even after a few has hasn't fully charged but I haven't really given it much full sun yet. I'm just going to go about my normal day and let the watch charge at its own rate..

Hi Colt , you do want to get it way up into the ‘H’ charge zone. After that, you should be set for years, just make sure you have ‘power save’ set to ‘on’ ( ps on the display) in order to conserve capacitor charge when you are not wearing it and it’s dark. Again, beautiful G-Shock (or is it G-Shocks now)!!, lol, judg69

i have, bought as miserable as UK summers ;) (yet the tube stays the same gross temperature all year round) but completely irrelevant to the OP's location. also an unusual way to answer any question by providing the worse case scenario which only relates to a specific region, with no disclaimers either

Normal new watch in direct sunlight should take few hours and that's it.

having owned -many- solar Gs for about 15 years now im well aware but again, this is not relevant to the OP, its an even more specific planet aligning, wiccan sacrifice turn of events that relates to very few owners, certainly not a new watch thats in a country thats between you and the sun ;)

^^ The LED light charging solution is the best, really. Easy to keep on for 24 hours a day, dirt cheap.
