Just wondering how long on average will the battery last on our Gshocks if we leave auto EL on.
I noticed with my PRG240 tough Solar, if I leave AEL on, with accidental movements of my arm, the battery gauge will drop from H to M in a few days so I just leave it off.
However with conventional gshocks without battery meter, we won't be able to tell.
So have any of you guys with gshocks with battery leave AEL on?
It's a very useful feature especially with my G9000MS reverse display mudman but I'm afraid it will drain the battery faster.
What do you think?
PS: Please also post the watch model you have and if it is tough solar or regular battery so we'll have an idea. :) Because with the G9000 with regular battery, Auto EL will stay only for 6 hours then it auto off the function which is great since I think most non solar (if not all) Gshocks don't have a light sensor that will not allow illumination when there is enough light.
