I have heard so many times that the G Shock Mudman series has a problem of the buttons being too stiff. So does any one know any possible way we can loosen the buttons a bit, so they are not as stiff?
Well, on mine they are kinda hard.
I have the G-9000 storm model and have really harder buttons especially the adjust button A, on my GW9010.
Its getting to be a nuisance. Using my G's more often and use the alarm alot. So setting new times etc... its PITA.o|
Resurrecting this thread, I just bought a Mudman and the buttons are really stiff, I can barely move them unless I press really hard with my fingernail/fingertip. So how does one "boil the bezel"? Does the bezel come off with the screw on each side at 9 and 3 o'clock? and then I dump it in boiling water? For how long? thanks.
P.S. also, how stiff are the buttons on a 7900 series, are they stiff also?
Because I don't think it's a friction problem, it's a stiff plastic or something problem that I don't think WD-40 would cure (and could hurt by affecting the plastic).
