Thumbs Down How many times will this happen?

I may be opening a Pandora's box, but this is twice this year that I've gotten screwed on great 'Bay wins.

    1. I won a GQ-200 Muscle Time G-clock for $65 when he had just purchased it for $250...

    2. I won a DW-8300 for $37 shipped

Both times the seller (different seller) has said "all of a sudden" the watch is badly damaged and can't complete the sale, and refunded money.

I'm sick and tired of this crap. Sorry, had to vent!

    Neil

Sorry to hear about that Neil.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise.

Ebay is a sellers market... the only thing the auc winner can really do is post appropriate (negative) feedback. Most buyers however are not going to do that, in fear of a retaliatory negative in return.

However... sometimes sellers state openly in their auction that they reserve the right to end the auction early, if they can sell the item locally.

Ebay is not all bad though, there are still some honest sellers/buyers, but its understandable that you are upset. Whatever comes out of it, I just hope your profile doesn't take a negative-hit.
