How Often Do You Change Watches?

I am finding lately that, not only do I tend to wear a different watch every day, I often change watches several times during the day -- in order to give new arrivals and old favorites some wrist time.

This morning, for example, I walked my daughter to her school bus at 7:20 AM and wore a basic blue Gulfman (which happened to be the watch I wore to work yesterday).

I got back home, showered, shaved, etc. and dashed out the door wearing my new PAW 1300G. (I completely blame the forum for this purchase, I probably wouldn't even of heard of this watch, much less sprung for it, had I not read the raves [and worse seen the pictures] on this website!)

When I get home tonight, I'll probably leave the PAW 1300G on my desk and dig into one of my boxes for something else -- maybe a "Men in Khaki" analog/digital Gaussman that has been calling out to me from my drawer.

If my spouse noticed, she'd conclude that I'm even crazier than she already thinks I am (particularly about watches and pens -- my two really bad addictions). Fortunately, she doesn't tend to focus on what watch I'm wearing. She doesn't wear a watch at all.

For now, just one. Hopefully in the future I'll be switching watches daily. I'm such an aspiring G Shock junkie.

I generally switch once a day during the week. I usually wear a metal band model to work, and switch to a resin band at nights. I tend to stick with one watch over the weekend. I'm liking ani-digi models more these days than in the past. But, when I travel (pretty often) it's always all digital as changing time zones is much easier.

Usually every day, and at times up to 3 times a day.

2 3 times per day used to be the norm... now I slowed down a bit and it's not unusual to have the same watch for a week at a tiime...

Re: How Often Do You Change Watches?

Normally I change 2 times a day. I wear one to bed, change in the morning for work. Then, before bed I usually change.

I do try and wear one watch over the whole weekend, but rarely succeed at that .

My wife just laughs to herself whenever she sees me open my watch box. In fact, she knows if I'm going to open it, to turn off our bright lights, as I don't want to 'wake up' my solar models unless I plan on wearing or charging them .
