    Question How's the strap connected on a GW-056?

    Hi guys;

    I wonder how the strap is connected on the GW-056. On the pictures there's two screws on each end of the strap. Is it just screwed? And if it is - is there metal or plastic threads behind?

    The mechanism looks different than the other G-Shocks.

    And finally does it wear comfortable (compared to e.g. a DW-5600)?

    Thanks for the info and have a nice day,

    Ad.

    Hi Ad,

    I'm at the office right now. I just looked at the pictures of mine. Is it posible that the watchband and bezel is made out of one part. In that case the screws hold the case. Look at this picture. I can't see a joint, so I guess it's made out of one part.

    The G(W)-056 is pretty comfortable around your wrist. I think comparable with the DW-5600E. You got to get used to the button control, but when you have that under control it's a basic good watch.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi Sjors,

    that could be right, taken the straps away there wouldn't be much bezel left anyway. But I find it odd if the straps cannot be changed without bezel removal.

    Anyone dare to remove those screws to propel G-Science

    There's always something new with those G-Shocks - I like it

    Thanks and have a nice day,

    I haven't taken any pictures of this, but if you look at Sjors picture, the band is held in place where the top screws are, and also held by a pin where the small flat metal bars are underneath the band.
