    HUF Win

So - ANOTHER eBay bid 'n win!

Unfortunately nothing else apart from the watch, so not the complete package, but I'm hoping purely to clean it and sell on.

I think with a good scrub up and decent photos it will go for a small profit.

As per my normal eBay win threads, here are some dismal seller's photos,

Congrats! Looks like it needs a little cleaning but otherwise looks great! I've been looking for a while but asking prices are too high now.

Love this model. I mean, GD-400s in general, and the HUF is the best of them. Metal enhanced lug structure, bullbars, clean display with large digits. Excellent!

You should be glad it arrived without the box and all that other stuff, because that means that you can wear it, guilt free, as it should be. After you clean it, that is... it'll be some job to remove those bullbars.

Slightly off topic, but I was hoping that the 35th anniversary models would include a GD-400, resembling the HUF. But it would have had a negative display, so...

Anyway, congrats, and wear it in health!

If it wasn't for your export taxes I would inquire about it.

    Great watch, and score

Yeah, I've seen in another thread that the bullbars are difficult to get off! Maybe I can use a cloth covered screwdriver?

I use the GSP when I list on eBay, so maybe the costs won't be too bad?

I'm amazed people buy more pricy pieces new, with all the paraphernalia, then trash the watch and presumably junk the rest. I get using a G as intended but a premier version? I dunno.

The 7900's are my favourites, although the 56s are currently my focus. But nothing is excluded, except pink Risemans.

some people have more "disposable" income, just dont care, or not knowledgeable of after market resale and collector wants. i see empty black tins on fleabay all the time for sale and they get scooped up by sellers as they know adding a $4 tin to a watch can fetch $10-$15+ to the price. i see the Casio module manuals for sale too, a collector wants the whole smegeggie~

look at me with the Maharishi i just got, i wanted the tin as much as the watch. it was an all or nothing "target and acquire mission" for me.

I also don't know why people throw or lose a big metal tin, packaging and paperwork!!

    Re: HUF Win

Picked up from the Post Office this morning.

It will definitely be a sell on watch as I'm not a huge fan of the GD-400's.

As I'd hoped, it's in better condition than the photos showed, just a clean and it will be on it's way.

But just to show you guys, here are some before and after shots:

I haven't been able to make it pristine, there are some hard deposits like calcium on a few areas, but it looks a load better!
