They're very very cool Joost, a job well done
After the hydro conversion, that GX-56 HAS to be one of the toughest watches on our little planet

    Hi Joost,

After the Frog you also made a King Hydro. Pretty cool (although I rather keep my watches authentic). I know Adan of Comando-G has made several Hydro's. I think he will like your Hydro King!

    Cheers,

    Sjors

Pardon me for being a complete noob at this but after searching around I found out that hydro g-shock is basically taking the thing apart and filling it with silicone oil.

But what's the reason? Is there an advantage or it just makes the watch look cooler with a bubble floating around?

The advantage is that with this mod it can withstand unbelivable water pressure during deep dives, that's it.

I like the hydro's, they make the watch look 'professional'.

Here's an interesting thought: Would the pressure meter still work on a hydro Riseman?
