I.C.E.R.C. Fisherman from WUS member has arrived!

I am very excited to have (finally) an ICERC Fisherman in my collection. It is one of the models that has eluded me for some time. I want to thank WUS member Coler for selling me this watch on the sales forum, and shipping internationally (from the Emerald Isle to the Golden State).

I am surprised at the condition of this watch. The resin is still soft and feels new. I can hardly believe it is a 1998 model. There was hardly any discoloration, and I just now sea-glowed it so there is even less than there was before. I like that this model allows for both F and C measurements of the temperature (my Men in Black Fisherman does not do this).

I was playing around with some spare parts when I had the watch disassembled for the sea glow process, and I discovered that the gulfman bands fit this model, as well as the riseman bands. I knew the gulfman and riseman bands were interchangeable, but I didn't realize the Fisherman was the same, too. It's too bad Fisherman bezels are so hard to find now.

I have added this watch to my collection thread below:

    Thanks again, Coler!

    lucky you !

i had some bad experiences with buying from international /

it is either the sellers didn't care to ship out immediately, or the long-time shipping, that bothers me much

maybe i am not as die-hard like you

    Excellent !

I'm very happy that you were pleased with the condition of the watch - and now it really does look like new. Great pics too by the way.

Enjoy the watch in good health.

What can I say, I have a pretty focused collection. As long as I am collecting watches with sea creatures on them (ICERC and WCCS), I may as well start collecting Casio Marlin watches as well... Actually, no, I don't think I will. They are too hard to find in decent condition and too expensive for what they are.

Very, Very, nice. I can't believe the condition!?. Like it was stored in a vault or something.
I saw one in the sales forum last month I think, and the condition was no were near the one you got!
Awesome pick up! (Wish I had one)
