Re: I created sub-categories for divers; have you done the same for Gs???

    I guess my categories are:

Beaters - damage is welcome (G-2700).
Fun - I'm still learning the module (GW-M850), getting used to the display (DW-5600HR), or just enjoying how it looks in the corner of my eye (also DW-5600HR).
Sharp - I'm careful not to rough it up, because it's rare, or I want it to look perfect (DW-5600C, DW-5035D, GW-2500).

I also keep track of how shockproof and waterproof I expect them to be.
    - They're all very shockproof except the frankenshock with the G-7700 module in the DW-5750 case. For that one, who knows.
    - As for waterproof, I've been a bit careless about lubricating the gaskets up to now, so if I've had it apart, it's only splashproof.

    1. Everyday officewear: primarily GW-5000. When I'm feeling fancy and go by car instead of motorcycle, MR-G G1000.
    2. Tough watch for yard work, chores, vehicle maintenance: GW-9400, sometimes GW-5000.
    3. Weekend fun-watch: PRW-6600
    4. Formal watch: MR-G G1000
    5. Sport watch: Garmin Fenix 5.

The Seiko Samurai is new, I've been wearing it non-stop for a week. When the purple haze fades I think it'll work in categories No 1 and 3.

Otherwise I found out that the bug is as virulent for divers as for Gs. I just got one diver, yet already thinking about adding another one. Maybe a classic, black dialled one with round markers, sapphire, possibly titanium...
Ha! I could have told you that! The 'rabbit hole' for divers is every bit as deep as it is for Gs. Cause now you suddenly have a zillion different brands that produce divers - not just a single brand that produces g-shocks. (truth be told, one could occupy themselves for a long time buying different divers only from SEIKO!!!) Then you have quartz, auto, GMT, sapphire/mineral, small, large, steel, titanium, etc. etc. etc. I haven't counted how many divers I actually have... That's probably a good thing.

One day, I'd like to have just 1-2 watches for each of my categories. But that day is far off, right now!

BTW, pics are appreciated. Especially pics of a watch involving the category you picked!

Just two. Square ones and all the others. Well 3 actually since my MR-G is in a class of its own.
