I give up, time to ask for help...

So I am new to G's. I love how there are so many different models and colors available, but not sure how well they will fit my wrist. I have a 7 inch wrist, and currently wear a 42mm Omega. I know the case thickness and height of the G's are quite a bit bigger, does this bother any of you? I never wear long sleeves really, so that isn't much of an issue for me.

I have searched for about an hour and can't really find any reference to wrist sizes and the sizes of various G-Shock's. I have been looking for something in Orange or Yellow, checked out the 5600 series and 6900 series. Where is a good place to get some wrist shots with the wrist sizes too... just for a comparison.

    Thanks for everyones help.

Check out the daily what are you wearing threads...lots of wrist shots, although I dont think people mention wrist size in those threads to much. Still, it can give you an idea.

Also, head to Sears or somewhere like that, they should have various models there and you can try them on and see what you think.

I have 7" wrists and can wear about any of them just fine.

There are many Gshocks that fit a 7 inches wrist at ease.
But in yellow or orange... less choice

Yeah I've been checking out that Gulfman. Also there is a yellow 6630 on the Sales Corner I have been eyeing. I know it's an older model, but still looks nice. I am just looking to break into G's at first, then expand my collection of them. Mostly will be using it for going to gym and running. But will wear it on other occasions too of course.

Thanks so far for the input.

The looks of the DW6630 are cool and it has good legibility. Other than that the Gulfman has a better and more recent module.
    Both are tough !

I think you can wear everything comfortably. Although some of the dimensions look large, they are designed so that they wear smaller. For example, the 6900 measures 50 mm from tip to tip at 3 to 9, but those flares are several mm wide and then the case itself measures 44mm or so. Also, the stockl strap on mine narrows to 20mm or 18 mm which I think also makes the case look more slender.

If you live near a Walmart, they tend to have the entry level models for 5600 and 6900 in stock and you can just try on. Those are probably close to the smallest and largest current models.

For yellow, I would go with the new GW6900, hands down.

    I have a 7,5" wrist.
Until now all Gs are fitting my wrist.

here some wristshots on a 7,5" wrist:

    G-7900:

    DW-6900

    Camo G-9000

    GW-5500

All of the models above are available in fancy colors.

I confirm that even if I have a very small wrist 16.5 cm (sorry but I'm italan) one of the largest g-shock, the GW-6900 50mm, is very portable and is not disproportionate.

    Don't worry about the size...of the G-Shock

It's all just a question what you've used to... I'd personally suggest going to nearest store and just trying one on for the size...

Here is GWM-5600 on shy under 7"

But as I said I'm used to big watches so it does not bother me a bit... here is the biggest digital G (next to pathfinder that's technically not a G)
and I wear this daily... no issues...
