Picture I just found some nice stuff for stealthing my GW-5600J

Long time no posting here in the G-shock forum, but I just stealthed my GW-5600J and it was supereasy - so I would like to share this with you.

I did it with Revell Airbrush Clean - just put it on with a q-tip and left it on for 20 minutes - after that time I could brush the paint of easily with an old toothbrush (okay, I was picking around with a toothpick near the "G-SH" after 3 minutes, so if I would have not been so impatient it would have come out without a scratch)

I bought the stuff in a German toystore. So maybe this is an option for everyone in Europe who can´t get his hands on Goo-Off or similar products.

For me the GW5600-J looks PERFECT now.

    Greetings from Germany

Nice post bro. Thats an excellent and inexpensive option for those wishing to stealthify their G.

I would imagine that a little paint thinner would do the trick too. Or would that be too corrosive for the case?

As a teacher here in the states, we've got these things called Graffiti Wipes used for easily getting rid of student graffiti from their desks, floor, walls, etc. It's strong enough to get rid of spraypaint, and sharpie marker.

    Great tip!
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Hey and THANKS TO ALL for the nice feedback.

I got the tipp from a friend of mine who cleans his airbrush gun with that stuff. And he told me that it maybe could be the right stuff to use on a bezel - cause it is not aggressive or corrosive on the seals and gaskets in his airbrush gun.
I gave it a try and it worked out fine - bezel looks and feels like before, just without the paint in the lettering
