It's from 1999, It is NOS, never been worn, probably no paper or box.

IMHO that seems a bit high.
But it's only worth what someone is willing to give for it.....

    That's true, thanks.
I was thinking the same, so I guess it'll stay where it is for now.

It really depends on how much you want it. Let's imagine you had no idea how much these typically sell for. If you were presented with a cool, new old stock, capable, funky, (relatively) unique watch for around $100, wouldn't that be intriguing? So the question to me is are you looking for collection fodder - hence, in general, as many watches for your dollar as possible - or do you just like this model in particular. It was 15,000 yen new. Figure 30% off list price and at today's exchange rate, you're still getting a discount. You could subtract some value because 'it's an old model', but then again you might add some value because, 'oh, these old G-Shocks have a rabid fan base and this is a minor collectible!'

I think that sums it, those thoughts went through my mind.
I felt that I want it, but partly because it's NOS and someday
it will be worth something. Well, that's not me or my strategy
(if I can call buying with heart, not head, "strategy" ).

    Thanks

Wink Re: I was offered this for around 100$, should I take it?

I think I bought this watch about 6 years ago for about $80.-. Then it was not pretty rare though. If it is in new condition, this is an awesome watch, which would not have been a wrong model in a Hyper Colors series.

    Cheers,
