I Pulled the trigger ona 6900!!!

NEWSFLASH! Well, some of you knwo me as the guy who can't decide what watch to buy. But, shock horror, I've settled on the GW6900.

Some of you may remember i'm a student so can only afford this watch for the time being...so hopefully my careful consideration/pondering will pay off when i get that knock on the door!!!

Im gonna use the watch for everything INCLUDING swimming/running so as a sidenote, any tips for caring for my watch?

As many G Shock owners say, hopefully i'll get to have some stories attached to the watch over its lifetime which will be worth more than the piece itself!

    Excellent choice for a student

G-Shock's don't need caring for-they can look after themselves! A quick scrub with an old toothbrush and then run it under the tap every now and then should be enough to keep it clean. You might want to rinse it in fresh water after swimming if you're swimming in the sea.

    Congratulations!

If I had to choose only one, it would be a GW6900 and a GWM5600.

as for care... really, the watch will handle nearly everything you'll ever be able to throw at it. When it gets dirty, run a nail brush with some mild detergent over it and scrub it down good. Rinse it off really well under hot water and BOOM!!! Like new once again. I've owned 5 variants of the 6900 and still have 2 of them. Got rid of the other 3 because good friends of mine loved them and bought them off a me was all. They are all still running strong and like new (cept for the 1, it is 9 years old - running strong, looks like A$$)

Congrats! That thing will last forever! I had one a while back and flipped it, tonight in the Sears store, I tried one on and will probably end up with another!
Experience is what you end up with when you didn't get what you wanted.

I got mine from Amazon on Thursday...through a retailer called "The British Watch Company".

They dispatched it on the same day so it looks efficient at the moment...fingers crossed!

The prices have gone up now since i ordered, they tend to fluctuate from £61 to £70...
