Wow, I can't believe I'm finally going to Iceland. We've just booked for a few nights in early January 2011 and as it's somewhere I've wanted to go for years, I really can't wait. We're hoping to see the Northern Lights and be proper tourists for once
One thing I want to do there is go to the Blue Lagoon hot spring. So basically, I'll be going from -2 celsius outside of the water to +xx celsius inside the water. I could of course take off my watch but I'd prefer to know if watches can put up with this sort of change without any trouble.
My choices of watch to take would be:
- One of my Riseman G-Shocks
- My TAG Heuer Quartz aquaracer 300M
- My TAG Heuer Aquaracer 500M automatic
The TAG Heuers are properly dive certified etc and are screwbacks so would they cope better with the temperature change... or is it something now to be even bothered about and I should stop being such a geek
Also, any tips on visiting Iceland would be greatly appreciated... including if anyone knows of anywhere there that sells G-Shocks etc
