If Casio doesn't make one, do it yourself ... (Franken-G inside)

Ever since the GW9010 Mudman was out, I really like the additional list of features to the original GW9000 Mudman
    • Mutli band 6 atomic
    • 24hr CDT
    • Adjustable EL duration (1.5 or 3 sec)
    • Display both date and day in the current mode
But I am not a fan of the LCD layout. And then it comes the GWM850. It has the same feature as the GW9010 Mudman and with a different LCD layout which I could live with.

On the other hand, I think GW810D was really cool looking with an easy to read reversed LCD and I especially like the comfortable case and bracelet.

And this is what I end up with, a bracelet version of the GWM850. I swapped the rubber strap and bezel with between the GW810D and GWm850. Now I have the comfort of the GW810D and the feature of GWM850.

I still think the LCD could be bigger to fill up the dial better and I still miss the cool looking reversed LCD of the GW810D (and wished the GWM850 comes standard with a easy to read reversed LCD). But I guess I would have to live with those for now.

So the bezels are a straight swap?

    Very cool

This looks like "must have" thing for me. My GWM850 are somewhere on the way from E-bay seller, but now I will have to buy even GW810D. My watches addiction will never end

I have a question for experts: The bezel from GW810D is the same size as bezel from G800D? So bezel from G800D will also fit to GW-M850?

Do you need to swap the bezel or will the GW810D strap attach to the GWM850? I'm looking to replace my resin strap with a metal one. Thank you :)
