    I'm such a square.

In the past I've had other G's that were not square, but sold them. This is my entire G collection at this time. Gonna stick with this shape.

    Re: I'm such a square.

I made the same decision about one month ago when I gave my Mudman and Rangeman to my nephew and brother in law, respectively. I find square Gís suit my tiny wrist the best, in terms of both aesthetic and comfort. Itís available in so many colors that you can have a lot of fun with it by swapping bezels and bands.

I have all my squares (that didnít come in black BnB) on black bezel and band from other models, and tried to match the dial color with the text on bezel. Itís really fun in finding which model would suit as donor and hunting the part down. Also I only use the standard band that tapers to 19mm at the buckle, instead of the smooth one that tapers to 21mm. I find the first more comfortable to wear.

Hereís a family picture, 7 DW-5600ís, GW-5000 and GMW-B5000. Only exception is the Frogman GW-200Z, Iím keeping this one. From now on I will only buy squares, any suggestion what should be next?

I believe that square is the natural shape for a digital watch.
Round is the natural shape of an analog watch.

Everything else is tribute to fashion! ;)

    Nice collection!

You see no pictures in my post?
Photobucket decided to lock my pics behind a 40$/month prescription service.
I used their services since 2009 so the most of my old threads have Photobucket pics inside.
If you stumble across one of those threads and want to see the pic, PM me and i will re-attach it.
What can we learn from all the lost information?

Can’t fault you. There’s something very pleasing about square G Shocks.

Mostly down to Squares also. Have a Gulfmaster and a Rangeman still hanging on, mostly because of the extra ABC functionality. Once I convince myself I don't need any with ABC, those will probably go too. Wonder if they will ever make a square with ABC? Maybe too small a platform, but I do have a ProTrek with ABC thats not really any bigger than a Square.

I love the squares of course, but I think the 5700 round g works quite well actually. It was my first G. My dad bought it for me when they first came out. My current fave g is my 5735, I love that gold shimmer on the lcd!
