    Info on Baby G STG-100

My g/f has a Baby G STG-100-1A. She's had it quite a while now and I'm trying to find out about the watch. I've found it on google but only on non English sites. It has the module 2351 printed on the rear and is stainless steel, inc bracelet. If I need to post pictures I will do but this new iPad doesn't seem to like adding images. If possible I'd like to know how old they are and there doesn't seem to be many around (can't find one on this site), so are they collectable?

Many thanks, I'm sure you pros can shed some light....

I've got a couple if hundred baby's, but not one of those. Sometimes you can ballpark age by the type of back case design.

On the rear it says casio g-sis, 2351 module STG-100 Japan Y. Sorry for its scummy state but its been in hibernation years now, not being worn. I do like the G on the second hand, I think it's a nice little touch. All stainless steel as well.

Thanks for the pictures, I have never seen that model before and I dig it!

Does it have a backlight? Looks similar to the Giez GS-500:

I've just started the clean-up on this one, new battery on its way, it's well overdue a thorough deep clean.....poor things been in the dark long enough. It'll be as good as new soon....well nearly as good

Cleaned up, new battery and ready to hit the streets again. Does no one know anything about this watch, I'm surprised.
Think it might be hitting the bay shortly, my girlfriend has moved up to wearing an Omega SMP so won't be needing this anymore.

Re: Info on Baby G STG-100

The G-Sis series (STG-100, STG-100C, STG-110, STG-110P in various color combos) was an attempt by Casio to appeal to women working in a business setting but yet wanted something sporty. So they are a combination of elegance with the metal and sporty with the bull bars ands resin parts and colors to still identify it as a Baby G. I guess the name G-Sis is a play with name Giez which is the expensive manly version made for business men. In China it was marketed as a watch for the mannish woman!

I do not remember what year it was launched, but could have been around 2004-2006 or so. And they retailed for around $150 or so.

Thanks for the info, it's appreciated.

Can't believe there's not more of these about. I think its dated now though but will make a good watch for someone when it goes on the bay. It still performs like a true G after all these years. Thanks again for your help
