    Interesting NASA /G-SHOCK pic

I have find this interesting pic in a japanese book about the Omega Speedmaster.
I can't read Japanese but it seems that they are talking about to chose a watch for EVA and one for Orbiter purpose.... I read crew pref in some stikers... something I have seen also in a G-Shock Book.

It's another interesting prove of the importance of G-Shock watches in a contemporary technical, military, science and heavy duty purpose.

    Something to be proud!

ps: some of my friends, when they see my collection told: "you're crazy to throw away your money for this plastic watches... what's you keep in your hand when the fashion for this watch are finished...? They are like swatch in 90's!"

Any help (or action...) to suggest me for make their mouth shut up?)

Tell them that a fashion doesn't last for 25 years, but a classic style does. After all, we're not wearing platform boots and tank-tops now are we? But we are wearing G-Shocks.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

Platform boots are out of style?

I simply tell people it's a matter of preference........... MINE.

I'm a relative newby to the G shock phenomenon. But I have come to truly appreciate the resilience, practicality and usefulness of these ruggedized time pieces.

    So there.

I've done that a few times myself...also slammed it on a tile countertop while wearing it, not a scratch...your right it normally shuts them up and the reaction is priceless.
