    Intersting observation

I was just looking at my DW-6900WC (2006 FIFA World Cup Germany Brazil edition) and noticed there are 5 different dates written in various places on the watch. 1974, 1977, 2002, 2004 and 2006.
    GW300A-2V
    GS-1000BJ-1A9JF
    DW6900-1V
    G9000-3V
    DW-6900WCJ-9ER (FIFA)
    DW-5600WC-1DR (FIFA)
    G9100-2
    GW5525A-1
    DW6600C-1V

A reasonable theory, but they don't...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

well, most of them are FIFA trademarks. actually all but one. 2006 is just the year of the world cup. i just thought it was interesting that so many dates were listed on one watch.

    It is interesting.

    Also interesting...but probably coincidence:
    1974 West Germany 1st place
    2002 West Germany 2nd place
    2006 Germany hosted (obviously )
