Introducing Myself, and do you know when this DW8900 was made?

I don't see it in the awesome catalogue posted in the sticky above.

Warm Regards, and on the hunt for a Red Guardian Angel:):)

    Hi Eman -

    Nice to meet you

You made a nice move with the MRG

The listed price was highway robbery:-D

I call it an MRG (Japan), although overseas as is your's, it was the 8900.

It's similar to the 100, although not sure if it's the same size or larger.

Good luck on the delivery and update us with some sexy photos

By the way, which country are you from as it's not shown in your "Avitar"?

Thanks, Ozzie. I'm in the US. Please clarify your price note...

and I'm fine either way - better to make a mistake early on a G-Shock, than some of the other stuff I've been collecting :):)

Regarding highway robbery, do you think I overpaid or underpaid, and what would have been the right price?

Do you know when this model was in production?

    Thanks again, Eric

    Hi e-Man,

In my MR-G catalogue the Nippon Chalenge is announced February 2000, which means that the MR-G series (including your DW-8900) were from the winter 1999 collection. I believe you have made a good deal with your MR-G.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

    Hi EMan -

I think you got a FANTASTIC buy!

I would say the same watch in mint condition should fetch minimum $300 and it is worth it.

I put a link previously on the forum and thought Solar G-Shocker may buy it

Looks like you beat him to itB-)

    Answer....

I've got a Gshock book which dates it to 1997 which would make sense because that's the same year the identical MRG-100 came out.
